Cleaning Directions for the Cliny Catheter and Cliny Tube 

Direction for Cliny Catheter Use. 

The Cliny Catheter can be used for 1 month and the case can be used for 6 months as long as they are cleaned as per instruction below. 

Cleaning Directions for the Cliny Catheter. 

- Rinse the catheter and catheter case. 

- Put a very small amount of liquid soap in the button of the tube. 

- Fill the tube with recently cooled boiled water. 

Place the catheter in the tube , shake the tube a few times, and leave for 3 minutes. 

- Rinse the catheter and tube a couple of times with recently cooled boiled water. 

- Shake the catheter and tube dry. Store the catheter in the tube. 

Catheter can also be microwaved using the directions below : 

- Fill a microwave container with water. 

- Place the catheter in the container. 

- Microwave for 5 minutes. 

- Wait until the water has cooled then shake the catheter and container dry. Put the catheter back in the container. 

- The storage tube must be cleaned with soapy water before placing the catheter back in the tube. 

The tube cannot be microwaved.

Cleaning Directions for the Cliny Tube 

As well as cleaning and the tube as detailed above, the tube should be cleaned once a week with either a one in three bleach solution or one in the three vinegar solution and left for 25 minutes before emptying and rinsing with clean water. 

Female catheter 5 mls bleach/vinegar to 15 mls water. 

Male catheter 20 mls bleach/vinegar to 60 mls water. 

Petunjuk Penggunaan Kateter Cliny.

Cliny Catheter dapat digunakan selama 1 bulan dan case dapat digunakan selama 6 bulan asalkan dibersihkan sesuai petunjuk di bawah ini.

Petunjuk Pembersihan Kateter Cliny.

- Bilas kateter dan wadah kateter.

- Masukkan sedikit sabun cair ke dalam kancing tabung.

- Isi tabung dengan air matang yang baru didinginkan.

Masukkan kateter ke dalam selang, kocok selang beberapa kali, dan biarkan selama 3 menit.

- Bilas kateter dan selang beberapa kali dengan air matang yang baru didinginkan.

- Kocok kateter dan selang hingga kering. Simpan kateter di dalam tabung.  

Kateter juga dapat dimasukkan ke dalam microwave menggunakan petunjuk di bawah ini:

- Isi wadah microwave dengan air.

- Tempatkan kateter dalam wadah.

- Microwave selama 5 menit.

- Tunggu hingga air mendingin lalu kocok kateter dan wadah hingga kering. Masukkan kembali kateter ke dalam wadahnya.

- Tabung penyimpanan harus dibersihkan dengan air sabun sebelum memasang kembali kateter ke dalam tabung.

Tabung tidak dapat di-microwave. 

Petunjuk Pembersihan untuk Tabung Cliny

Selain membersihkan tabung seperti dijelaskan di atas, tabung juga harus dibersihkan seminggu sekali dengan satu dari tiga larutan pemutih atau satu dari tiga larutan cuka dan dibiarkan selama 25 menit sebelum dikosongkan dan dibilas dengan air bersih.

Kateter wanita 5 ml pemutih/cuka dengan 15 ml air.

Kateter pria 20 ml pemutih/cuka dengan 60 ml air.
